I think now, more than ever, women need to stand up and be proud of their bodies, all bodies, and love them without conditions… and let it be known.
(and, simultaneously, we need to let it be “okay” for women to be confident about their bodies. All too often, when women (including me) are happy in their own skins, others shut them down. Confidence is not arrogance. She loving she shouldn’t be a bad thing. Modesty is overrated: we need screams, not whispers, ya know? Be loud, be proud, and don’t let others dull your shine.)
